Alberto Pirrera is an international pianist with extensive experience in Europe, the Middle East, Central and North America. Fluent in English, Italian, French and German. 

 

Born in Sicily, Alberto began studying piano at the age of 5. He trained at the Music Conservatory V. Bellini in Italy and at advanced workshops in France, Germany and the US. 

 

His specialisations are musical theatre and luxury events. He performed for the King of Spain and several Hollywood celebrities at the Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris, as well as fashion private events (DIOR and PUIG). 

 

Alberto has been a resident artists for several months at the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection and at Explora Journeys performing as solo pianist as well as with a professional band playing a great variety of styles such as jazz, broadway, country, classical, pop and soft rock. 

 

Another important specialisation is classical ballet. Alberto has worked as pianist for the ballet classes at the Centre de la Danse du Marais, at the Music Conservatory in Paris and the Deutsche Oper in Berlin.  

 

He regularly performs musical theatre accompanying singers and choirs in different venues in Paris. One big example is Steven Sondheim’s works.   

 

Alberto is also a winner of the second prize at the international music competition “M.Scheberras” in Italy, performing “Toccata” by Khachaturian, in 2000.

 

Parallel to his piano career, Alberto graduated with a Master Degree in International Management from the University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milano and worked in the marketing department of international companies such as Chanel, Etihad Airways and MTV in Abu Dhabi, Berlin and Paris.
